Talking some NBA
I have watched the first couple of games of the ESPN NBA season that last few nights. Even though I really enjoy watching college basketball alot more then the NBA, I am a fan of the game, and its good to have some ball to watch at night before bed.The Suns Lakers opener was a good game, just watching the Suns period is fun. Steve Nash is just an amazing point gaurd, and amazing player. Besides the occasional turnover, his decision making skills are the best I have ever seen. His shots are smart, his passing is the best in the game, and he makes every little thing look like its for a purpose. His passes always seem to lead to open shots, even when he is not directly passing to the person shooting. Just a joy to watch. Everyone in Philly is happy that the Sixers are 1-0, they should just stop playing now. I didnt get to watch the Knicks game, but the highlights showed a team that had a little fight in them. They did blow that lead though, and ESPN made a great point. Taking Renaldo Balkman so high in the draft was an idiotic move. There were so many players that could have been taken before him that could have played last night and gave solid minutes. This guy is no first round pic, and he will do little to help the Knicks this season. Another great move by the Knicks front office. One more thing, you must read the story on Keith Van Horn, a player in sports who really isnt about the money, no I really mean it, check it out. So now I begin sitting through a circus act that is the Knicks season. I cant wait for Orange basketball, preview comming soon.
