9 to 5er
After a long two weeks vacation, and a crazy Alumni Weekend up at Plattsburgh State University, I officialy started working full time at Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation. Its a foundation for childhood cancer research, and I am there graphic artist.I am trying to get into the event planning marketing side of the non-for-profit business a little more so hopefully I can lear some stuff. Even though I do miss home, I really do enjoy working down here. Great people who I really enjoy and get along with greatly. Laid back working environment. Close proximity to my home, at least until I move again. A great opportunity to meet people in high positions around the Philadelphia area. And the chance to be a part and help a great cause, that I really feel good about. I give myself a year from yesterday to see how I like it, where I am at in my life, and see what it is I really really want to do. Maybe Ill pack up, maybe Ill stay longer, who knows. I just am trying to enjoy myself for now. This also gives me an opportunity to save some well needed funds, and do some stuff in the close future, like go to Ireland, and make some other trips. We will see how things go, and my work will be posted online soon with help from Jeff. So if you wanna come down to the Philly area, you got a friend in me.
