Crazy Day at Hershey
What a crazy last Friday I had, as Kerri myself and our friend Jamie went to the world famous Hershey Park in Hershey Pa to ride some crazy ass roller coasters. Now I did know about this trip for quite some time and let me tell you I was pretty nervous about having to ride these crazy rides. So we went on all the good ones we could go on, one was broke (The Superdooperlooper), so we couldnt go on that one. But we went on all the other major coasters, and spent about 6 to 7 hours at the park, the majority of the time in lines, but def. worth it. Check out all the coasters we went on (http://www.hersheypa.com/attractions/hersheypark/rides/results.asp?rh=99&pa=99&rt=1). My personal favorite was the Great Bear, a coaster where your legs are hanging down from the ride, it takes you upside down through some crazy loops and corkscrews. The only bad part was on our second to last ride, The Sidewinder, which takes you backwards as well as forward. When going backwards I almost blacked out, I saw the black start comming into the sides of my eyes, almost making my vision go completely black. Luckily I held out till the end, took a break, and went on one more ride. They way I looked at it, was that if all these 5 to 10 year old kids, as well as people in their 40's and 50's were going on these rides, them dammit I gotta do it. It is an amazing feeling being put upside down, dropping hundreds of feet, being shot from 0 to 70 in about 2 seconds, and going completely vertically straight down. Quite a great feeling, my advice is to just shout it out the whole time, when you feel your body start to give in, just scream it all out, it really works. I highly reccomend anyone and everyone to do something like this, I didnt think I could do it but I had some good support, and after the first ride you realize that its all gravy baby.
Hershey Park was def a blast. My fav was the ride that went from 0-72 miles an hour in 2 seconds (forgot the name). That was such a rush, and being up front for it made it sooo much better because of the first drop we came up on. Sooooo awesome! Ryan was a scardy cat on the first coupla rides but he did good the rest of the time! Good job babes!
