It Makes Me Sick
After a long weekend home with the family for an unfortunate circumstance, I returned to work on Monday to the head offices of Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation (check it out at www.alexslemonade.org). To my shock I discovered that over the weekend the building had been broken into, and some stuff had been taken and some damage had been done. It makes me sick to know that these people would break into a place like this, that does so much to help people who need help the most. Philly is a shitty place at times, with alot of crime in certain places, and the burbs I guess are no different. Those who broke in, tried very hard to get into locked office file cabinets, and a locked safe, although they did not take the checks that were in the safe. No damage was done to any of the numerous computers, and some merchandise was stolen, and it seems they urinated in a soda can, and used the restroom a number of times and left whatever they did in their unflushed. Overall it was not a really bad break in, just alot of physicall damage done to some stuff. Probably just some punk kids with nothing to do on a Friday or Saturday night. The police however are doing all they can, like taking fingerprints, and questioning neighbors. I hope these people are caught and something is done, things like this happen all the time, but when its personal I guess you think a little more into it. Good luck APD. "Yes they deserve to die, and I hope they burn in hell!" Just kidding but I'm pissed. And yes 10:30 is back, sorry it took so long.
You know, people like that don't quit and they certainly don't give a damn if you're trying to raise money for cancer research.
