Prison Abuse

That's the way it had to be.
They locked him up and threw away the key.
Well, I can't take pity on men of his kind,
even though he now takes it in the behind.
The de facto punishment for many criminals in this country is that they will not only be incarcerated but physically abused by other inmates. Think about that. Because we cannot adequately protect inmates we are condemning them to years of abuse when we convict and sentence them. To put it even more plainly, the punishment for, let's say, stealing a car is rape. It's not technically true but it's true. On top of that we all make jokes about it. The logic is that these criminals were bad guys so they deserve to be raped.

Seriously, think about that.
